Jog Falls is one of the highest waterfalls in India. Its alternate names are Gerusoppe Falls, Jogada Gundi. Jog Falls is located in Sagara taluk of Shivamogga District, Karnataka, in Southwestern India.
The river Sharavathi plunges down to split into four distinct falls- Raja, Roarer, Rocket and Rani.
It is ranked 10th highest waterfall in India and 490th in world. The height of waterfall is 253 metres or 830 ft. The nearby dam is Linganamakki Dam.
